Provide Education is recruiting a full-time Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school from September. This varied role will involve a combination of general classroom support alongside providing SEND support to pupils, making every day rewarding and engaging.
The Role
Full-time position, Monday to Friday
September start
Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1
Providing a mixture of whole-class, small group and 1:1 support
Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning opportunities
Supporting children with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential
Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independenceThe Ideal Candidate
Holds a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification
Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 1
Has experience supporting children with SEND or is keen to develop within this area
Is patient, nurturing and adaptable
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one through Provide EducationWhy Join Provide Education?
