Bookkeeper - Accountancy Practice

£15.00 per hour
Full-time or Part-time - minimum 3 days per week
Office based

We are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a friendly and established accountancy practice based in Mansfield.

This is a flexible opportunity which could suit someone looking for either a full-time position or part-time hours from 3 days per week.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will assist with the day-to-day bookkeeping requirements of a varied client base, with particular responsibility for VAT and CIS returns.

The role will involve:

General bookkeeping for a range of clients
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Preparation and submission of CIS returns
Maintaining accurate financial records
Processing and reconciling financial information
Using accounting software including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
Working with Excel spreadsheets
Liaising with colleagues and clients to obtain information where required
Ensuring records and returns are completed accurately and within deadlinesThe ideal candidate will have:

Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice
Experience preparing VAT returns
Knowledge and ideally experience of CIS returns
Experience using Xero, Sage and /or QuickBooks
Good working knowledge of Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
