We are looking for an ambitious Industrial Temporary Recruitment Consultant to join our busy Birmingham City Centre / Hagley Road office and take ownership of an established Industrial temporary desk.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy team with existing clients, warm accounts and contract business already in place, giving you a strong platform to build from. Alongside managing and developing this existing business, there is significant scope to win new clients and grow the Industrial division across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
The RoleYou'll be responsible for managing and growing an established Industrial temporary recruitment desk, supplying workers across a range of Industrial and warehouse environments.
You'll build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent service and identifying opportunities to increase business within those accounts.
At the same time, you'll have a strong focus on new business development. You'll be expected to identify prospective clients, make proactive sales calls, arrange meetings, win new accounts and develop new opportunities across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
With a broad geographical area to target and an existing client base to build upon, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven recruiter who wants to make a desk their own.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of an established Industrial temporary recruitment desk.
Manage and develop existing client and contract accounts.
Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
Deliver a consistently high level of service to existing clients.
Identify opportunities to increase business within existing accounts.
Develop new business across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
Make proactive cold calls and sales approaches to prospective clients.
Arrange client meetings, site visits and business development activity.
Source, interview and place candidates into temporary Industrial positions.
Build and maintain a strong database of reliable temporary workers.
Manage temporary workers throughout their assignments.
Handle bookings and day-to-day client requirements efficiently.
Maintain regular communication with clients and candidates.
Ensure all temporary placements meet company and compliance requirements.
Resolve client and candidate issues quickly and professionally.
Work towards and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
Contribute to the continued growth of the Industrial division.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience within Industrial or Temporary recruitment.
A strong understanding of the temporary recruitment market.
Experience managing existing client relationships and developing new business.
Confidence making cold calls and approaching new clients.
A strong sales mentality and the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised and able to manage multiple clients, candidates and vacancies.
Resilient, self-motivated and commercially driven.
Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach to both account management and business development.
Full UK driving licence required.
