The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
I am looking for a senior project engineer with a good p-way background, to deliver assurance on track engineering technical excellence for an engineering frameworks across the north of England.
Role
You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a track aspect. This role would suit an existing p-way engineer from design sided works
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure the track engineering on allocated company contracts are technically compliant with the relevant Group, client & company standards.
Act as the p-way engineering technical contact and liaison with clients and sub-contractors in order to resolve assurance issues.
Ensure integration of design, installation and testing and that the end product meets the client specification and has technical integrity.
Carry out project risk assessments. Assist the Tendering department in the preparation of Tenders.
Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated contracts.Essential requirements:
Be a chartered civil engineer (MICE) or working towards it.
Have five years relevant experience..
Proven experience of managing and controlling the planning, design reviews to delivery of permanent way worksDesirable:
