Role Overview:
Join a collaborative Scrum team building and enhancing backend microservices for a global Loyalty and Benefits platform. You will focus on the Account domain, drive innovation using modern tools, and share engineering principles across the wider platform.
Key Requirements:
Backend Development: Proven experience in a type-safe language (Golang highly preferred, but others considered).
Architecture: Hands-on experience with backend microservices, REST APIs, and message queues (specifically Kafka or RabbitMQ).
Agile & CI/CD: Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum team to deliver automated, thoroughly tested code to production.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Testing: Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Tech Stack: Exposure to Docker, Postgres, gRPC, GraphQL, and Git.
Tools: Experience with Jenkins, Jira/Rally, or SVN.
Education: Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience).
