The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of an innovative, high-tech manufacturing organisation seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their skilled production team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a precision engineering environment, assembling advanced mechanical and electromechanical systems used in cutting-edge applications. You’ll play a key role in building, testing, and maintaining high-spec products within a cleanroom setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble complex mechanical and electrical components in line with engineering drawings and specifications
Carry out specialist wiring and electrical testing on precision instruments
Work to strict cleanroom standards, ensuring all components meet high-quality “clean” requirements
Record pre-test data and support quality control processes
Assist with the introduction of new products into production (NPI), including documentation creation
Maintain and update manufacturing instructions and build guides
Keep accurate production records, including test data and product traceability About You
We’re looking for someone who combines technical skill with a strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
You will ideally have:
Experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly
Background in a precision or low-volume manufacturing environment
Knowledge of specialist wiring and testing techniques
Familiarity with cleanroom processes (desirable)
Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
Qualifications:
Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Apprenticeship or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electromechanical or similar
Level 3 Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience considered)
