The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the role…
Are you looking to start a rewarding career in Finance while gaining a recognised professional qualification?
As a Finance Apprentice within our Water and Infrastructure Finance team, you will provide valuable support to the Finance function while working towards a Level 3 AAT qualification (or equivalent). This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting and finance activities while developing your knowledge, skills and career within a supportive environment.
Working closely with experienced finance professionals, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the Finance team while building a strong foundation for a successful future in accounting and finance.
As a Finance Apprentice you will…
Assist with the production of sales invoices.
Process purchase invoices and liaise with colleagues across the business to resolve discrepancies.
Support cash collection activities.
Allocate customer receipts and supplier payments accurately.
Prepare helpful analyses of costs and revenues.
Produce cost centre reports.
Prepare and post accounting journals.
Assist with monthly finance activities, including statements, reconciliations, credit card analysis and timesheet processing.
Maintain accurate financial records and support the wider finance team with administrative tasks.
Work towards achieving a Level 3 AAT qualification (or equivalent) alongside your role.
About you…

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A*–C) or equivalent.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
