This opportunity is ideal for a graduate from any academic background who is looking to gain school-based experience before embarking on a PGCE, School Direct, or another teacher training route. Location: Wandsworth and Lambeth
Pay: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: September 2026 - July 2027 (term time only)

The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers across KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils with both their academic progress and social development. You will gain practical experience delivering small group interventions, supporting classroom learning, and working with children with additional learning needs, including SEND.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A degree in any subject
A genuine passion for becoming a Primary Teacher
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
Experience working with children (desirable but not essential) through tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering, childcare, or school placements
