The Role
As a Road Freight Operator, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day movement of import and export shipments across Europe, ensuring customers receive a seamless service from collection through to final delivery.
Key responsibilities:
Planning and coordinating European road freight import and export shipments
Liaising with customers, hauliers, overseas partners and drivers
Booking collections and deliveries
Monitoring shipments and providing regular customer updates
Completing operational documentation and customs-related paperwork where required
Resolving operational issues quickly and professionally
Building strong relationships with customers and transport partners
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in European road freight operations
Knowledge of both import and export processes
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
A proactive approach and excellent attention to detail
Customs knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential
