Quality Inspector

Market 36 Recruitment are recruiting for a Quality Inspector on behalf of our client based in Braintree. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business supplying components for some of the world's most prestigious automotive programmes.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect carbon fibre and machined components to customer specifications.

* Carry out first-off inspections on machined parts.

* Measure components using verniers, micrometers and other inspection equipment.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Produce inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.

* Ensure compliance with customer and company quality standards.

* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment (5S).

* Support continuous improvement within the inspection department.

About You

* Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Competent using measuring equipment including verniers and micrometers.

* Good IT skills and experience producing quality documentation.

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* Salary up to £35,000 DOE.

* Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
