We're partnering with a contemporary womenswear brand to recruit a Junior Jersey Designer to join their growing Design team.
Working closely with the Senior Designer, you'll support the design and development of commercially successful jersey collections from initial concept through to production. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, trend-driven designer looking to develop their career within a fast-paced fashion business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of seasonal jersey collections.
- Conduct trend, fabric and competitor research.
- Produce CADs, technical sketches and design packs.
- Work closely with Buying, Garment Tech and suppliers throughout product development.
- Review samples, attend fit sessions and support product approvals.
- Ensure designs align with the brand aesthetic and commercial objectives.
About You
- 1–3 years' womenswear design experience, ideally within jersey.
- Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
- Good understanding of jersey fabrics and garment construction.
- Commercially aware with a strong eye for trends and detail.
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
