Position: Business Support Administrator
Location: Hamilton
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE

Bennett & Game are representing an established specialist roofing and cladding contractor who are seeking a Business Support Administrator to join their growing team.

Based in Hamilton, the company specialises in roofing, cladding and building envelope solutions across Scotland. Procladd deliver projects across a range of sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, leisure, transport and residential, with services covering roofing, wall cladding, rainscreen cladding, refurbishment, repair and remediation works. The business has an established reputation within the Scottish construction market and works with a range of major contractors and clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to join a growing construction business in a varied support role. The successful candidate will provide general administrative support across the business, assisting with day-to-day office functions and providing additional support to the Procurement Manager where required. This is a predominantly administration-focused position with scope to develop and take on further responsibility over time.

Business Support Administrator Position Overview
* Providing general administrative and business support across the company
* Managing emails, correspondence, filing and general office documentation
* Maintaining accurate company, project and supplier records
* Preparing documents, reports, spreadsheets and other administrative information
* Assisting the Procurement Manager with general administration and procurement documentation
* Supporting with purchase orders, supplier information and maintaining procurement records
* Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to obtain and record information
* Updating internal systems and databases to ensure information remains accurate
* Providing general support to the commercial and operational teams
* Assisting with the smooth running of day-to-day office administration

Business Support Administrator Position Requirements
* Previous experience within an administration, business support or office-based role
* Construction, engineering, procurement or contracting experience would be advantageous
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
* Proactive, reliable and willing to support colleagues across the business
* Professional approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Based within a commutable distance of Hamilton
* Full UK driving licence desirable
