Academics is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in the North Staffordshire (Stoke) area to appoint a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team from May half-term through to the end of the summer term on a part-time basis, with the role becoming full-time from September until October half-term.
About the Role:
Teaching Geography up to KS4
Part-time from May half-term to July, transitioning to full-time from September to October half-term
Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality Geography lessons
Monitoring and assessing student progress
Providing constructive feedback to support development
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Geography
Recent experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A genuine passion for student achievement
Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
