How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the role

We are looking to recruit Primary Early Career Supply Teachers (ECTs) for work starting in September 2026, based in primary schools across Worksop and the surrounding areas.

The desired Primary Early Career Supply Teacher (ECT) will work in our client primary schools from September 2026. We have a variety of opportunities available, ranging from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements and contracts.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a range of primary schools, which could lead to long-term or permanent positions. It also provides valuable experience towards completing part or all of your ECT induction.

Why choose supply work as an ECT?

Working on supply is an excellent way to:

Get your foot in the door with local schools

Build valuable relationships and network with school leaders and educational professionals

Gain experience across different school settings, age groups, and year groups

Develop your classroom practice and confidence

Discover the type of school environment that suits you best

Maintain flexibility while beginning your career

Whether you're looking to build your experience across a range of schools or secure a long-term role to begin your ECT induction, we have opportunities to suit your career goals.

What we offer

As part of our team, you benefit from:

Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. (Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration.)

Guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability).

Social and networking events.

Pension contributions.

CPD to help with your professional development.

Access to a wide range of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) including training to support Early Career Teachers

Access to a dedicated consultant.

Requirements

The desired Primary Early Career Teacher (ECT) will have:

Experience of working within a primary school setting (placements welcomed)

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be due to achieve QTS by Summer 2026.

A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

An ability to work as part of a team

About us
We are a market-leading education supply agency committed to the development of young people. With branches across the country, we are an employer of choice for high quality educators.

We’re part of The Edwin Group, an education alliance here to do good and are proud to be named in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Places to Work in the UK 2024

We do not discriminate on the grounds of age, gender, race, colour, religion, disability or sexual orientation, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.

Refer a Friend Bonus

We're passionate about making a difference in education and want to work with like-minded people. If you have a friend or colleague who is just as exceptional as you are, refer them to work with us and you'll both be rewarded.

Our Refer a Friend scheme couldn't be easier:

Refer a friend by completing our referral form, contacting your local branch, or asking your friend or colleague to get in touch and let us know you referred them.

Your friend or colleague registers with us.

Once they have completed 15 full days of work with us, or have been in a permanent position for 6 weeks, you'll both qualify for a reward.

You and your friend will each receive either a £125 bonus or a £125 Amazon voucher.

It's our way of saying thank you for helping us connect outstanding educators with fantastic schools.

How to apply
If you are a teacher who can enthuse, motivate and engage learners and would like the challenge of working in a rewarding environment, then we want to hear from you.
