The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are recruiting for an experienced Property Services Assistant to join a busy Property Services team within a well-established Housing Association in Glasgow.This is a varied role providing administrative and customer service support across reactive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance, contractor management and statutory compliance. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for tenants, contractors and internal colleagues, helping to ensure repairs and inspections are coordinated efficiently.
Your new role
Managing repair requests and raising works orders
Coordinating repairs, inspections and contractor appointments
Liaising with tenants, contractors and maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of works
Monitoring progress of reactive, planned and cyclical maintenance programmes
Supporting statutory compliance activities, including gas, electrical safety, asbestos and legionella programmes
Maintaining property, compliance and asset management records
Processing contractor invoices and monitoring repair completion
Assisting with contractor performance monitoring and service improvement initiatives
Supporting customer satisfaction surveys, complaints handling and service feedback processes
Producing reports and performance information relating to repairs and maintenance serviceWhat you'll need to succeed
Experience working within a property services, repairs, maintenance or social housing environment
Knowledge of repairs processes and contractor management
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing/property management systems
