The Opportunity
NEOS Engineering are partnered with a leading manufacturer within the crane and lifting equipment sector who are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of their UK operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience selling mobile cranes, lifting equipment or heavy capital equipment. You'll play a key role in developing new business, growing the dealer network, managing key accounts and increasing market share across the UK.

The Role
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
Meet and exceed sales targets across your territory.
Develop new business while managing and growing existing customer accounts.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive business development.
Develop and support the UK dealer network for the crane product range.
Build long-term relationships with dealers, contractors, rental companies and end users.
Negotiate pricing, prepare proposals and successfully close sales.
Work closely with Product, Sales Planning and internal teams to maximise revenue.
Support key accounts alongside the wider sales team.
Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.
Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis and customer feedback to influence future product development.
Maintain CRM records and manage sales administration, including payment collection where required.
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in Business Development, Area Sales or Key Account Management.
Strong background selling mobile cranes, lifting equipment or heavy machinery.
Experience developing dealer networks and managing distribution partners.
Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets.
Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Experience using CRM systems.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage a large territory.
Full UK driving licence.
