Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently supporting a client in the search for an Area Sales Manager (Industrial Doors).
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets within a designated territory, with a primary focus on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contracts for industrial doors. You will also identify opportunities for new equipment, replacements, upgrades and modernisation projects while building long-term customer relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve or exceed agreed sales, revenue and growth targets through the sale of planned maintenance contracts, service agreements and selective new equipment opportunities.
Develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts.
Identify opportunities for contract renewals, service upgrades, multi-site agreements and long-term maintenance contracts.
Identify and progress opportunities for new industrial door installations, replacements, automation and modernisation projects.
Conduct regular customer visits, site surveys and compliance reviews across your territory.
Produce accurate quotations and proposals tailored to customer requirements and site conditions.
Proactively follow up quotations and manage opportunities through to completion using structured sales processes.
Work closely with Service Operations, Engineering, Projects and Key Account teams to identify and develop sales opportunities.
Maintain excellent awareness of market conditions, competitor activity, customer assets and compliance requirements.
Ensure CRM records, customer information, quotations and contract documentation are maintained accurately.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, providing a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process.
Gather customer feedback and use insights to continually improve service delivery and customer retention.
Promote the company professionally, maintaining high standards of conduct, safety and customer care at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets within a field sales environment.
Experience selling service contracts, maintenance agreements or industrial products is highly desirable.
Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
Commercially aware with the ability to identify profitable sales opportunities.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy sales territory.
Good administration skills with experience using CRM systems.
Proactive, self-motivated and results driven with a positive, can-do attitude.
Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
Good IT skills.
Full UK driving licence.
