TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream primary schools across Huddersfield that require Primary School Cover Teachers for day-to-day and short-term staff absences.
We are looking for adaptable teachers who can confidently step into the classroom, follow provided lesson plans and maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour. Roles are available across KS1 and KS2, with opportunities varying depending on your experience and preferred year groups.
The successful Primary School Cover Teacher will have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching within UK primary schools
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Confidence teaching KS1 and/or KS2
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
A flexible and professional approach
