KS2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term maternity cover from as soon as possible until the end of the academic year

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
Support pupils in developing core literacy, numeracy, and wider subject skills
Maintain a calm, well‑organised classroom and positive behaviour routines
Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs
Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a supportive teaching team
Contribute to planning, assessment, and wider school responsibilities
Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfareIdeal KS2 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to inspire and motivate learners of mixed abilities
Good organisational and communication abilities
Reflective, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
