Location: South Kensington (Onsite – 5 Days per Week)
Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and resilient M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Compliance Manager to join on a fixed-term basis, taking ownership of compliance across a diverse estate of several buildings in South Kensington. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can balance technical compliance with strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take full responsibility for M&E compliance across a portfolio of several buildings
* Manage and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes, ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are met
* Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and compliance records
* Act as a visible presence across the estate, keeping a close eye on site activities and addressing issues proactively
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment
* Confidently manage and influence challenging customers and stakeholders
* Drive actions to completion, ensuring tasks are delivered efficiently and without delay
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in M&E compliance or maintenance within complex environments
* Strong understanding of statutory compliance, PPMs, and associated documentation
* Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle demanding stakeholders
* Self-sufficient and comfortable operating without a team to manage
* Tenacious, solution-focused mindset with a proven ability to “get things done”
Contract Details:
* Fixed-term contract
* Full-time, 5 days per week onsite
* Based in South Kensington
Salary description
£67000.00 - £77000.00 per year
