The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Role
Working closely with the events team, you will help develop sales for a range of high-end yoga and art retreats, private events and luxury venue experiences.
You will be involved in:
Responding to enquiries and converting leads into bookings.
Building strong relationships with clients and event organisers.
Supporting the sales process from initial enquiry through to booking.
Developing new sales opportunities and helping grow the events business.
Working closely with the events team to ensure clients receive an exceptional experience.
Supporting the promotion of retreats and high-end venues across Scotland, Ireland and Europe.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, commercially minded and passionate about events.
This could suit someone with previous event sales, hospitality, venue sales or customer-facing experience who is looking for the next step in their career.
You’ll need:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A confident and personable approach.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
A genuine interest in events, hospitality and luxury experiences.
The drive to develop sales and build relationships.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
The Package
£26,000–£28,000 depending on experience.
Fantastic bonus structure.
6 weeks' holiday.
Two weeks' holiday in December over the festive period.
Full-time, Monday–Friday.
Office-based in Edinburgh.
