We’re looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician to join a busy and supportive workshop team on a permanent night-shift basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a consistent shift pattern, competitive hourly rate and the chance to work within a modern, well-maintained fleet.
HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician The Role
You’ll be responsible for keeping a modern fleet of HGV vehicles safe, reliable and on the road. Your duties will include:
* Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
* Carrying out inspections and general maintenance
* Fault-finding and diagnostics
* Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard
* Working safely and efficiently within the workshop
* Supporting the wider workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime
HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician About You
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic or Technician with:
* HGV mechanical experience
* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* A full UK driving licence
* HGV or PSV licence is desirable
* A strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
