Role Overview
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and experienced Corporate Receptionist to join our team within a government contract environment. This role is primarily based in Canary Wharf, delivering a high-quality front-of-house service while ensuring a welcoming and secure experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet and greet visitors in a warm, professional, and approachable manner
* Manage visitor sign-in processes in line with security protocols
* Issue visitor passes and maintain accurate records
* Provide a first-class front-of-house experience at all times
* Handle general reception duties including enquiries and directing visitors
* Support additional sites in Westminster and Whitehall when required
* Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area
* Liaise with internal teams and security personnel as needed
Working Hours
* Core hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00pm – 6:00pm
* Flexibility required to occasionally work 12:00pm – 5:00pm
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in a corporate reception or front-of-house role is essential
* Background in hospitality (e.g. hotels) or Facilities Management is highly desirable
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Professional presentation and demeanour
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Solid work history (required for BPSS clearance)
* Must be confident handling visitors in a secure, professional environment
