How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong leader who can manage a small team while maintaining exceptional standards across landlord and tenant services.

    The Role

Reporting directly to the Building Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day engineering operations across a premium residential estate, including some mixed-use elements. You’ll lead a team of engineers, ensuring all maintenance is delivered to a high standard while keeping the team motivated, accountable, and performing effectively.

    Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of on-site engineers
Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
Ensure landlord services are maintained to a high standard, with tenant works managed and quoted correctly
Act as the technical lead on site, supporting fault finding and complex issues
Drive performance, standards, and accountability within the engineering team
Liaise closely with the Building Manager and wider estate team
    About You

Strong technical background in either high-end residential or premium commercial environments with previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineering role

Apprenticeship or higher qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering or building services.
Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, SSSTS, or NEBOSH) preferred.
Proven ability to lead in-house teams and external contractors, maintaining compliance and service excellence.
Strong working knowledge of statutory systems (L8, EICR, SFG20, LOLER, PUWER, building regulations).
Experience using CAFM systems and reactive maintenance systems.
    Strong communication and organisational skills
Proactive, hands-on, and able to lead from the front
    The Package

    Salary: £60,000
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Option to buy or sell up to 5 days leave
    8% pension contribution
    Private healthcare (Bupa)
    Annual salary reviews
    Bonus scheme
    Full uniform provided
Enhanced parental leave, sick pay, and compassionate leave
    Additional lifestyle benefits and discounts
