Job Description
Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a National IFA Group for a Paraplanner to join their team in the Buckinghamshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-driven financial planning firm providing bespoke wealth management advice to established high-net-worth clients and referred new business. The successful candidate will work closely alongside Advisers and administrative support teams to deliver high-quality, technically robust financial planning solutions.

The role will suit a technically strong Paraplanner who enjoys solving complex problems, communicating sophisticated planning strategies clearly, and working with demanding HNW clients in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
Conducting extensive research and providing Advisers with technical assessments and reports.
Pre-meeting preparation, attending client meetings (where appropriate), and producing follow up reports & analysis, answering any specific client queries.
Produce technical and compliant suitability letters.
Provide advisers with strong technical advice and guidance backed up by fully researched client solutions.
Manage complex cases and find solutions to technical problems
Prepare lifetime cashflow models, reviewing clients’ goals and potential outcomes.
Produce full financial plans including cashflow models, contingency planning, legacy / succession planning and tax planning.
Engage professionally with well-informed clients who may challenge advice, ensuring long term relationships are maintained.
Take responsibility for self-improvement, keeping up to date with market changes, compliance, and legislative considerations.
Help highlight operational areas of improvement and assist with any changes made.
Take an analytical approach to making client recommendations using your data management skills to support these.
Translate complex information into easy-to-understand client correspondence
Ensure all work meets all compliance, high ethical standards and reflects the company values
Contribute to the team’s work enjoyment, growth, and successCandidate Criteria
Diploma Level 4 Qualified with desire to achieve Chartered status
Experience working in a Paraplanner capacity for an IFA firm
Experience preparing suitability reports and complex financial planning recommendations.
Ability to communicate complex strategies clearly to both advisers and clients.
Experience working with high-net-worth (HNW) clients.
Experience producing lifetime cashflow models.
