Responsibilities: Full Teaching Responsibilities
A well-regarded secondary school in the Hemel Hempstead area is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their team from after Easter for the rest of the academic year. This is a full-time role requiring full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, assessment, and participation in the wider school community.
The successful candidate will primarily teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, while also delivering Maths lessons up to KS3. You will join a supportive department with strong leadership and a collaborative ethos.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and high-quality Computer Science lessons
Teach Maths up to Key Stage 3
Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with school policies
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes progress and achievement
Participate in meetings, duties, and wider school responsibilitiesEssential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
Ability to teach Maths confidently to KS3
Strong classroom management skills
