We are currently working in partnership with one of Building Magazines Top 100 consultancy firms, who are recruiting for a Clerk of Works on a permanent contract. The position is due to start on notice & can be based out of their London or Kent office.
The salary is up to £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience for the role.
The ideal candidate will need to have experience across a range of sectors including New Build, Regeneration and Refurbishment including Fire Safety and Cladding Remediation
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Leading and managing cladding remediation projects from initial brief through design, procurement, construction, and handover
- Ensuring that the quality of both materials and workmanship is in accordance with the design information such as specification, drawings and quality standards
- Confirming that the inspections are performed in a manner that confirms the reported results
- Studying the contract drawings and schedules, and information produced by consultants and specialists
- Establishing lines of communication with the project Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor, architect, the contractor’s site supervisory or project manager
- Studying the Health and Safety Plan for the project, British Standards and Approved Codes of Conduct
Experience required:
