Interim Payments Lawyer | EMEA | Global Technology Platform
MLA is supporting one of the world's leading technology platforms in hiring an Interim Payments Lawyer. The clients operates across ride-hailing, delivery, mobility and digital marketplace services, this business serves millions of consumers and partners across EMEA and continues to innovate in highly regulated areas of payments and financial services.
The legal team is looking to bring in an interim lawyer / secondee for an anticipated 6 month engagement from September/October to support increased workload and provide cover during a period of leave.
The role will involve advising on a broad range of matters, including:
- Payments regulation
- Financial services regulatory advice
- AML and related compliance matters
- Commercial contracting
- Product counselling and stakeholder support
This is a particularly interesting opportunity for lawyers with experience in payments, fintech, financial services regulation or broader commercial regulatory work, ideally gained in-house or supporting technology-driven clients.
