Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for new energy projects, including M&A, joint ventures, and project development in UK and other Europe countries.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, such as EPC agreements, equipment supply contracts, operation & maintenance agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Advise on regulatory compliance matters, including UK energy laws, environmental regulations, and cross-border investment rules.
- Coordinate with external counsel, regulators, and internal stakeholders to resolve legal issues efficiently.
- Manage dispute resolution processes, claims handling, and litigation where necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law; qualified lawyer license preferred.
- Minimum 3–7 years PQE with proven experience in UK legal environment, ideally gained through working in a UK law firm or in-house legal department.
- Solid background in new energy industry projects or infrastructure-related transactions is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in English; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
