Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out procedural file reviews across all areas of the firm
- Respond to risk and compliance queries from staff via the central mailbox or phone
- Maintain SRA records and manage practising certificates through mySRA
- Support the annual practising certificate renewal process
- Manage the new starter onboarding process from a compliance perspective
- Ensure regulatory records are accurate and up to date
- Deliver internal training sessions on key compliance topics
- Keep internal registers and logs up to date, including breach logs
- Assist the Data Protection Lead with data breach investigations
- Conduct research on legal and regulatory developments
- Review referral agreements and liaise with the Client Services Team
- Provide day-to-day support across the Risk & Compliance function
