The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Role:
Based within a busy Piercing Studio, this role is centred around welcoming clients into the world of professional piercing.
You will greet, style and advise customers, helping them achieve their individual look while providing an exceptional customer experience.
You will carry out piercings to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety, inspiring confidence and trust throughout every stage of the client's journey.
Adherence to industry best practice is essential, with the safety and wellbeing of our customers always being the highest priority. You will also provide expert advice on piercing aftercare to ensure the best possible outcomes.
As the in-store piercing specialist, you will be expected to remain fully up to date with the latest industry standards, legislation and best practice, ensuring these are consistently implemented and observed by the wider team.
There will also be opportunities to recommend, style and present jewellery that customers can purchase both immediately and in the future. Strong retail and sales skills are therefore highly desirable.
Requirements:

A minimum of 18 months' experience within a professional piercing studio.

Extensive piercing experience, demonstrated through an up-to-date portfolio.

A strong working knowledge of UK piercing standards, regulations and best practice.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and store management.
