How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Paralegal - Residential Property

    A well established legal practice is now seeking a Paralegal to join its Residential Property team. This Paralegal opportunity is based in the Marlow office and is suited to a motivated individual looking to develop their legal career within residential property. The Paralegal will work alongside experienced legal professionals, supporting a varied client base from first-time buyers to property investors.

    The Company?

    The successful Paralegal will be joining an established legal practice with a strong presence across the Chilterns, Home Counties and Thames Valley. The Residential Property team works with a broad range of clients, delivering legal services across all stages of the property transaction process. You will be part of a collaborative team working across multiple office locations.

    The Role

    As the Paralegal you will provide support to the Residential Property team, assisting with legal administration and client matters.

    The role will include:

    * Supporting solicitors throughout residential property transactions
    * Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
    * Communicating with clients and third parties throughout transactions
    * Providing administrative support across the department
    * Expanding your responsibilities through ongoing training

    The Paralegal?

    You will be an organised and proactive individual with an interest in residential property and a willingness to develop your legal knowledge.

    The Paralegal must have:

    * A Law Degree or significant experience within a residential property environment
    * Fast and accurate data inputting skills
    * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    * A willingness to learn and develop within the Residential Property department
