About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse & Despatch Operative to join our clients team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and dispatching daily orders, managing incoming goods, and maintaining accurate stock control within a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery and courier dispatch
* Load vehicles safely and ensure timely departures
* Manage delivery schedules and route planning support
* Receive, check, and book in deliveries against purchase orders
* Monitor stock levels, replenish pick locations, and manage returns
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse
* Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
* Provide occasional delivery driver cover when required
What We’re Looking For
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* Flexible, hands-on approach with attention to detail
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Customer-focused mindset
* Awareness of health & safety practices
Requirements
* Full, clean UK driving licence (3.5t vehicle)
* Forklift driving experience
* Previous warehouse and stock management experience
* Basic IT skills
