They are seeking an experienced HR & People Coordinator to support the Head of HR & People with day-to-day HR administration and people-related activities across the business. The role will support the full employee lifecycle while contributing to HR projects, employee engagement and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
Manage HR administration including contracts, offer letters, Right to Work checks, references, probation, changes to terms and leaver processes.
Coordinate the HR induction programme and maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
Support absence management, return-to-work meetings, medical referrals and workplace adjustments.
Assist with disciplinary, capability and grievance processes, including minute-taking.
Support recruitment activities including advertising, candidate screening, interview coordination and candidate feedback.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions and the job role library.
Support employee engagement surveys and wider HR projects.
Coordinate training and development administration, including apprenticeships, work experience and management training.
Assist with the annual appraisal process.
Maintain employee data and support HR reporting.
Travel to other sites on an ad-hoc basis when required.Requirements
Previous experience in HR administration, ideally within a multi-site organisation.
Good knowledge of HR processes and practices.
Experience using HR systems and producing HR reports.
CIPD Level 3 or equivalent preferred.
Experience in the construction/waste management sector - desirable
The successful candidate must be able to drive and travel to other depot locations as required
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
