The Opportunity
The Successful Legal Secretary will provide support to a Private Client Partner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the department by providing first-class secretarial and administrative support. Duties include:
Providing day-to-day secretarial support to a Partner
Preparing correspondence and legal documents
Audio and copy typing of letters, documents and attendance notes
Preparing inheritance tax forms and supporting documentation
Opening new files, carrying out conflict checks
Managing diaries, arranging meetings and booking appointments
Handling telephone calls and client enquiries
Preparing bills, recording time and assisting with general file management
Maintaining accurate electronic and paper files
Monitoring inboxes, dealing with post and ensuring deadlines are met
Providing general administrative support to the team as requiredThis Legal Secretary position is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm
Requirements
At least 4 years' previous Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary experience within a law firm (essential)
Experience supporting within a Private Client team (essential)Vacancy Highlights
