Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced team in Halifax.
This is a general warehouse role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, good time-keeping skills, and a proactive attitude. You will be supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment and stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
* General warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and sorting items.
* Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
* Moving stock around the warehouse using manual handling techniques.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
* Adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
* Essential: Must have your own safety shoes/boots for Day 1.
* Previous experience working in a warehouse or fast-paced logistics environment is preferred.
* Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods and performing manual lifting tasks
