Compulsory requirements:
- A clean and valid driving license and access to own vehicle.
- A degree of 2.1 or above and be eligible for graduate membership of the BPS.
Job description:
Applicants are invited for the position of Assistant Psychologist to work with service users with intellectual disabilities who present with challenging behaviour and who have a secondary diagnosis of mental illness or have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.
The successful candidate will join and be part of a well-established friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will be required to routinely collect and present behavioural data, carry out observations, produce reports, conduct staff training, carry out therapy, attend clinical meetings and provide support to the Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Behavioural Specialist. Regular supervision will be provided. This role will be of particular relevance to psychology graduates with an interest in future Clinical Psychology training.
Bachelor’s Degree (2.1 or above)
Driving Licence and access to vehicle is a necessity
Contract length: 13 months, 40 hours per week. 8am-5pm
Job Type: Fixed term contract, Contract length: 13 months, Pay: £26,500 per year.
Interviews will take place at our head office in Basingstoke on the 13th and 14th of April 2026.
