Job Title

Internal Sales Representative- Heavyside Building Products

Job Description

Are you interested in joining a well-established supplier of heavyside building products who are looking to appoint an Internal Sales Representative to help them capitalise on opportunities across construction industry.

The Role

Working closely with an externally based Sales Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of set sales targets and will be responsible for developing the company’s business across a given geographical region, raising the profile of the company with new customers whilst maintaining and improving existing business relationships.

Specific duties would include:

* Making a high volume of outbound calls (40 calls /day) to key stakeholders of construction projects - eg. building contractors, developers, architects - to secure interest

* Working to company sales KPI's and targets

* Proactively pursue new sales leads

* Respond to occasional inbound enquiries

* Sales of all company product ranges to meet agreed area budgets

* Consistent and regular chasing of enquiries, taking a 'consultative' approach

* Successfully progress specification of upcoming projects from architectural stages to contractor and order. Full ownership of the process

* Accurate and timely management of current customer database.

* Communication with all relevant colleagues on a day-to-day basis

* Tracking Projects through to multiple stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

* Our Client is looking for rresilience and the ability to demonstrate persistence

* You’ll be eager to learn and receptive to new ideas

* Demonstrate a history of sales experience or customer facing roles

* A good/reasonable knowledge of IT, especially CRM, EXCEL, Outlook

* There are no education requirements, but you must be articulate, and able demonstrate your points clearly both verbally and in writing

* Highest level of professionalism is a must

* Some knowledge of the construction industry would be beneficial but not essential

TERRITORY Derbyshire

SALARY

£25K-£30K (D.O.E) + Excellent Rewards Package

25 Days Holiday + bank holidays,
