The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Escape are working in partnership with our established FMCG client to recruit a Supply & Logistics Coordinator.
This is key role within the supply chain function, responsible for coordinating the flow of product to customers across mainland and island locations.
This is a central position within operations, working closely with customers, production, warehousing and logistics providers to ensure consistent and reliable supply.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate the efficient and reliable supply of finished goods to key customers
Coordinate deliveries to remote island locations via 3PL warehouses, ferries and local transport providers and other European locations
Plan transport shipments and manage bookings, including road and vessels
Monitor and reconcile stock held in external warehouses
Work closely with customers on orders, forecasts and stock requirements
Maintain regular communication with site-based teams to align supply and demand
Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics providers to manage shipments
Support export activity when required (Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Canada)
Identify and resolve supply chain issues as they arise
Build solid working relationships with internal colleagues, customers and suppliers Requirements:
Experience in supply chain, logistics or planning
Strong Excel skills and confidence using ERP/MRP systems
Able to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Analytical and planning skills
Practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving
Comfortable working across complex logistics routes and multiple handovers
