The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Vehicle Maintenance Technician
Are you an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Technician looking for a varied, hands-on role with opportunities to develop your skills? We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our growing team at our Kidderminster workshop.
Working with specialist refuse collection vehicles, you'll play a key role in ensuring our fleet is maintained to the highest standards. Whether you're already experienced with commercial or HGV vehicles or have a strong background in mechanical fitting and welding, we'd love to hear from you. Full training will be provided to help you develop your expertise in this specialist field.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Vehicle Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs.
* Refurbishing specialist vehicles and equipment.
* Performing welding and fabrication repairs.
* Completing work to a high standard while meeting agreed deadlines.
* Accurately completing job documentation and maintenance records.
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
* Following health and safety procedures and promoting safe working practices.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is practical, proactive and takes pride in producing quality work.
You'll ideally have:
* Mechanical experience with commercial or HGV vehicles, or relevant experience in mechanical fitting and welding.
* Knowledge of vehicle electrics and hydraulics (desirable but not essential).
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* A willingness to learn and develop through training.
* Good communication skills and a professional approach when working with colleagues and customers.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* A full UK driving licence (essential).
