Role:                Team Manager Violence and Exploitation

Based:            Camberwell - 1 day in Camberwell and 4 from home

Rate:               £19 – £20ph PAYE or £24.50 - £26ph UMB

Start Date:      ASAP

Duration:         temp for at least 1 month

Hours:             35 hours per week Monday to Friday - 9am – 5pm occasional evening work may be required

Our client is looking for a Team Manager, to support delivery of services that prevent and respond to youth violence and exploitation across London

Experience working within a case management or frontline service environment
Confident supporting and overseeing caseworkers and following up on actions
Can undertake structured case reviews and provide day to day support to staff
Comfortable working with detailed case management systems and ensuring records are accurate
Can monitor caseloads, referrals, case progression, closures and identify what action is required.
Organised and able to keep track of multiple actions and priorities across a busy service
Can work independently within clear parameters and escalate safeguarding, complex casework or significant management concerns appropriately.
Has strong attention to detail, particularly where data quality, performance information and reporting requirements are concerned.** you will need to take ownership of a defined part of the day-to-day operational management of the service,

Essential Requirements:

Significant experience of supervising and managing a team, including providing regular supervision, coaching, performance management and support for staff development.
Experience of managing or overseeing services for children and young adults affected by violence, exploitation, safeguarding concerns or other complex needs.
Experience of managing caseloads and ensuring high-quality casework, including risk assessment, support planning, case recording and review.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, procedures and multi-agency practice relating to children and young adults.
Experience of monitoring service performance against KPIs, contractual requirements and quality standards, using data, audits and feedback to drive improvement.
Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in youth work, social care, criminal justice, safeguarding, health, education or a related field
