6 Month FTC with potential to become permanent
Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong Employee Relations background and experience working in a unionised environment?We are seeking an HR Advisor to join a well-established organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting managers through a varied caseload of complex ER matters while helping to shape and influence people practices during a period of change.
The Role
As part of a collaborative HR team, you will:
Manage a broad range of employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence management and capability matters.
Provide pragmatic and legally compliant HR advice to managers and stakeholders.
Build positive relationships with recognised trade unions and employee representatives.
Support organisational change initiatives and workforce projects.
Contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures.
Keep abreast of employment law developments, including forthcoming Employment Rights Act changes.About YouWe are keen to hear from HR professionals who can demonstrate:
Proven HR Advisory-level experience.
Strong employee relations expertise, including handling complex cases independently.
Experience working within a unionised environment.
Up-to-date employment law knowledge.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Previous policy development experience would be highly advantageous.Seeking applications from complex unionised environments such as Public Sector, Charities, Not-for-Profit organisations, or commercial environments.
What's on Offer?
Salary: £38,000 - £46,000 plus £2,500 London Weighting Allowance.
35-hour working week.
Hybrid working with 3 days per week on site.
27 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and additional closure days over Christmas and Easter.
Pension Scheme with employer contribution of 14%.
