The Role
As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum
Assess pupil progress and use data to inform future planning
Differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities and additional needs
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
Create a positive, inclusive and well-structured classroom
Work closely with the parallel Year 5 teacher to share planning and resources
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Contribute to meetings, school activities and the wider life of the school
What We're Looking For - The ideal Year 5 Teacher will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Have effective behaviour and classroom management skills
Be confident supporting pupils working at different levels
