The Role - SEMH Teaching Assistant
Seeking a patient and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 within a specialist SEMH setting. You will work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils manage their emotions, improve behaviour and access learning. The role involves implementing behaviour strategies, supporting emotional regulation, using de-escalation techniques and encouraging pupils to develop the confidence and resilience needed to re-engage with education.
