The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the opportunity
Guidant Global is working in partnership with Airbus to recruit an experienced Landing Gear Engineer, supporting the ongoing safety, reliability, and continuous improvement of landing gear systems across multiple aircraft programmes.
This is a highly visible engineering role at the heart of in‑service support, where your expertise will directly contribute to resolving complex technical issues, protecting airworthiness, and minimising aircraft downtime for global customers. If you enjoy solving real‑world engineering challenges and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, this role offers both impact and professional growth.
What you'll be doing
As a Landing Gear Engineer, you'll be responsible for identifying, analysing, and resolving recurring landing gear issues across Airbus fleets, including A300, A320, and A330 aircraft.
Key responsibilities include:
Working closely with In‑Service Engineering teams to identify top and recurring landing gear issues, including major in‑service problems with potential airworthiness impact
Leading and contributing to engineering investigations to determine root causes, working in collaboration with landing gear suppliers and engineering partners
Proposing and supporting the development of effective technical solutions, ranging from documentation updates through to equipment or design changes
Responding to time‑critical engineering queries, helping to minimise Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events and customer operational disruption
Supporting the development of robust engineering studies and "ready‑to‑use" materials for customer‑facing and technical teams
Building deep technical knowledge of landing gear systems, with the opportunity to become increasingly autonomous and influential within the function
Who we're looking for
We're seeking a mechanically focused engineer with strong in‑service experience within aerospace or a closely related industry.
You'll ideally bring:
A background in mechanical engineering, ideally with exposure to landing gear systems
Experience working on in‑service engineering activities, such as concessions, modifications, or airworthiness reviews
Exposure to aerospace environments, particularly within Airbus or landing gear supply chains (highly beneficial)
The ability to work confidently with internal stakeholders and external suppliers in a fast‑paced, operational setting
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skillsPlease note: this role is best suited to mechanical engineers rather than systems or avionics specialists.
What you'll get in return
In addition to working on industry‑leading aircraft programmes, you'll benefit from:
Competitive hourly rates (Umbrella and PAYE options available)
A flexible, hybrid working model to support work-life balance
The chance to work on complex, high‑impact engineering challenges
Exposure to leading aerospace engineering practices and global stakeholders
Opportunities to grow your technical capability and long‑term career prospects within aerospace
