About the role
An opportunity has arisen for an NDT Level 2 or Level 3 Instructor / Examiner / Engineer to join a specialist training and inspection team based in the Bristol area.
This is a varied role combining technical instruction, examination and hands‑on NDT inspection, supporting candidates through approved training programmes while also delivering inspection services for customers when required.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high‑quality NDT training courses to internal and external candidates
Invigilating, examining and marking examinations in line with industry standards
Supporting training administration, quality requirements and course preparation
Undertaking NDT inspections across multiple methods at company and customer sites
Maintaining training equipment, consumables and inspection documentation
What you'll need
EN4179 Level 2 or Level 3 certification in one or more NDT methods (UT, PA, ET, PT, MT or RT)
Evidence of instructional or teaching capability (or willingness to obtain)
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally
A flexible, resilient mindset suited to a commercial training and inspection operation
