Maths Tutor
Location: Staffordshire
We have amazing opportunities for Maths Tutors to work with one of the country’s leading training providers. You’ll support small groups of disengaged learners, helping them develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours they need to achieve their long-term goals and aspirations.
If you don't have the teaching qualification one will be provided if you have the experience!

Requirements
To be considered, candidates should ideally have:
* Experience as a Maths Tutor or in delivering Maths Functional Skills.
* A Level 3 or higher teaching qualification, or similar
* Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
* The employer will fund the Assessor qualification if required!
* Candidates who hold GCSE or A-Level qualifications will also be considered.
* Functional Skills Level 2 is the equivalent of a GCSE Grade 4, so applicants with this qualification are more than qualified to teach to this level.
* The ability to promote an effective and inclusive learning environment.
* A good level of IT competence.
* Confidence in using a diverse range of resources and communication skills, particularly when working with disadvantaged groups.
