The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Engineer to join our team in the Wakefield region providing support across our depot network in the North.
The salary for this role is negotiable (DOE) plus a company van, overtime, and benefits.
About the RoleThis Regional Engineer Role in Brief;
• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), services, LOLER inspections, repairs, manufacturer updates and maintaining the corporate image of our fleet of rental machines.
• Attending breakdowns on customer sites.
• Accurately completing all necessary records of checks, repairs etc using a company issued tablet, following company procedure at all times.
• Communicating effectively with the engineering team and hire office to make sure that the depot maintains maximum machine availability.

Requirements
You must hold an engineering qualification – minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plant maintenance.
Experience within the powered access industry is essential.
Competent in electro/hydraulic systems.
You will be experienced in fault-finding/diagnostics.
You will be working closely with customers and colleagues, so you must be able to communicate professionally.
You must be able to prioritise tasks in an ever-changing demanding hire environment
