We are looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter to join an established team working from a workshop in Glasgow, with site-based projects across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate must have previous site-work experience, particularly working with hygienic/dairy pipework.
Projects include distilleries, breweries, dairy and food processing facilities, waste-to-energy and other industrial environments.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter
* Previous site-work experience is essential
* Experience working with hygienic/dairy pipework is essential
* Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel pipework
* Experience with thin-wall, hygienic and schedule pipework
* Ability to read technical and isometric drawings
* Competent with pipe preparation, fitting and installation
* Strong industrial/site experience
* Good health & safety awareness
* Willingness to travel to local sites
* Ability to work overtime and weekends when required
