Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid Flexi, Bendi or Pivot Steer Forklift Truck licence to join a busy warehouse operation in the Reading, Berkshire area.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to become part of an established team.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating a Flexi/Bendi/Pivot Steer forklift truck
Order picking using both MHE and manual methods
Loading and unloading vehicles
Goods-in processing and stock checks
Stock replenishment and inventory control
Container unloading when required
Producing labels and processing warehouse paperwork using internal systems
Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse
Supporting colleagues across all warehouse functions as required
About You
To be considered for this role, you'll have:
Previous warehouse experience
A valid Flexi, Bendi, Pivot Steer or Aisle Master forklift licence
At least 1 year's experience operating a Flexi/Bendi truck
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good IT and data entry skills
A flexible and positive attitude to work
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to work overtime when required
What's on Offer?
Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
£14.60 per hour and above, depending on experience
